Description
A beautiful combination of baguettes of black tourmaline crystals, sometimes finished, set on an orthoclase crystal.
This sample comes from the Strahlenberg, in the Fichtelgebirge massif in Bavaria, Germany. This area offers a rich mineralogy because several granite quarries have been exploited there.
This mineralogical specimen comes from the mineral collection of Deyrolle, a former naturalist dealer in Paris. It comes with its original label, which dates from the 1950s/1970s.
