Description
An unusual sample, as connellite deposits are few and far between.
Connellite is a very rare mineral species, a hydrated copper chlorosulfate.
As for botallackite, this halide takes its name from the type locality, Botallack, in Cornwall.
This specimen comes from a famous Swiss museum collection and was discovered at Perranzabuloe in Cornwall, England, at the Peran Great Saint Georges mine.
