Description
Smithsonite is a mineral found in the oxidation zones of Zn-Pb deposits, as in the case of the Tsumeb mines in Namibia.
This several-millimeter crystal, from Hubin Neupré’s Belgian collection, is of interest to any collector of Namibian minerals or Zinc, as the crystal is perfect, brilliant, with a bluish coloration over half its surface.
