Group of cuprite crystals, Tsumeb, Namibia

185,00

Group of cuprite crystals in perfect condition, ruby-red in color, with a metallic appearance on the surface in some places.
The crystals are sandwiched between sheets of calcite, and in some places show micro-crystals of mimetite (a lead mineral).
This is a sample that is rarely seen on the stock market any more, and which the Tsumeb mine no longer supplies in favor of its magnificent fluorite.
Tsumeb is located in Namibia, on the African continent.
