Superb specimen of pink thulite, polished on one side, from Telemark, Norway.
Thulite is a manganesiferous zoïsite, which gives it its very bright color.
Specimen from the Deyrolle collection, a Parisian naturalist dealer. Comes with its handwritten label and original box (19th or early 20th century).
