Description
Lot of two specimens of childrenite, in lamellar, translucent crystals of a beautiful orange-pink hue.
An eosphorite-like mineral, it usually forms in complex granitic pegmatites as a secondary mineral resulting from low-temperature hydrothermal alteration.
Specimen from Mendes Pimentel, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
From the René Hubin collection, Neupré, Belgium.
