Blue fluorite and chalcopyrite on quartz, Burc mine, Le Burg, Tarn.

160,00

Nice-sized, airy, well-cut sample of a tangle of quartz in well-formed microcrystals, sprinkled with numerous limpid blue-green cubes of fluorite.
Chalcopyrite is present in one of the geodes, but it’s this small, shiny crystal on top of small fluorite cubes that catches the eye.
There are also fine blue lines in some of the fluorite cubes, the ghosts of growth.
This specimen comes from the emblematic Burc mine, in Le Burg, Tarn (81).
