Description

Large specimen of colorless fluorite of optical quality, i.e. perfectly translucent.
Fully crystallized plate, rare bumps.
Good quality for the sector.
Cubes up to 1 cm long.
This typical Auvergne specimen comes from the Langeac mining area in the Haute-Loire, and more specifically from one of the Marsanges mines (Auvergne).
They are located in the mountains above this village, and have been closed since the 1970s.
