Description
Non-automorphic crystals of amblygonite (a lithium phosphate) associated with bluish turquoise and grey quartz in a pegmatite-type rock. A typical rock from the Montebras quarry, Creuse department, Limousin.
This sample comes from the collection of Denis Galmier, a geological engineer born around 1910, who devoted his life to the study of French metalliferous deposits. It comes with its own label.
