Specimen from Michel Maigrot’s collection showing an imposing acicular crystal of white anglesite in a gangue of sulfides and red siderite. The crystal is located at the bottom of a cavity in the specimen, but is clearly visible and measures approximately 2 cm. Anglesite is a sulfate of lead, barium and copper. These crystals come from the Viala du Tarn deposit in the Aveyron department.
