Description
The Salsigne gold mine (Aude) is a major French mineralogical locality, with many described mineral species: chalcophyllite, vivianite, gypsum, cyanotrichite, ludlamite, childrenite, cronstedite, azurite, malachite, coral aragonite, calcite on pyrite, etc. This specimen features a cavity covered with micro-crystals of royal-blue, sparkling azurite. This specimen features a cavity covered with sparkling, royal-blue azurite microcrystals. Azurite is fairly uncommon at Salsigne.
