Minerals from the collection of Eric Asselborn, French amateur mineralogist born in 1954, mineral collector, author and lecturer; he is also a medical doctor 1984, urologist and hospital surgeon. He is the originator of several new mineral species, one of which bears his name, asselbornite, and is the author of numerous publications and books.
