Description
Pericline is a form of albite with elongated prismatic crystals.
The specimen presented here features numerous white, chlorite crystals with a vitreous luster and well-defined edges.
In places, salmon-colored flabelliform crystals of an unidentified carbonate complete the picture.
It comes from Ofenhorn, in the Binn valley in Valais, Switzerland, from the Valentin Sicher collection.
