Apatite, Schorl and Muscovite, Skardu District, Gilgit, Baltistan, Pakistan.

200,00

Superb combo of a large hexagonal green apatite crystal with beautiful golden muscovite leaves and a tourmaline crystal (schorl variety) embedded in it.
Very fine miniature from the Skardu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
Ex-mineral collection of Philippe Glastre, who obtained it by exchange in 1994.
PS: the apatite has a slight fracture (see last photo). Without this little flaw, given the quality of the combo and its aesthetics, the specimen would be selling for $2,000/3,000.
