Description
Exceptional perfectly automorphic crystal of aquamarine, a type of beryl, brilliant and presenting a beautiful typical blue color.
The main crystal is nicely arranged on a two-tone gangue, made of grey quartz and white feldspar. A second crystal of blue beryl is visible in the gangue.
The main crystal has a strange natural fracture, separating the crystal into two distinct parts.
A specimen found in the upper Val Bregaglia, probably in Vicosoprano or at the Forno glacier, in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.
This is an exceptional piece for the sector. The dimensions of the crystal are 2.3×1.8×1.7 cm.
