Description
Azurite and botryoidal malachite nodule. This highly aesthetic, colorful, fully crystallized specimen can be set in many different ways. This specimen comes from the very old collection of Michel Adanson, a renowned 18th-century naturalist who was born on April 7, 1727 in Aix-en-Provence and died on August 3, 1806 in Paris. Ocna de Fier is a commune in Cara Sever-Severin, in the Banat region of south-west Romania.
