Description
Association of cassiterite, stannite, löllingite, chalcopyrite and mispickel (arsenopyrite) in a massive quartz gangue from the Chaillats vein (small tin deposit), near Echassières and Nades, in the Puy-de-Dôme department of Auvergne.
This sample comes from the collection of Denis Galmier, a geological engineer born around 1910, who devoted his life to the study of French metalliferous deposits. It comes with its own label.
