Description
A nice little floating specimen, showing a tabular crystal of Stolzite, with bright yellow-brown lateral faces.
Stolzite, a lead tungstate, is an unusual mineral.
It was discovered in the mine of Sainte Lucie in St Léger de Peyre in Lozère, the best known specimens of the species, both in size, up to 7 cm, and in aesthetics.
The sample presented here is delivered with its base.
