Description
Here, two quartz crystals have joined together to form this specimen, the right-hand side is smokier than the other and the surfaces of the mineral are very shiny.
The main face is “fenestrated”, with clay inclusions. The quartz sample is placed on a hard gangue, and does not require a base. Ideal for window display.
It was found near the village of Herkimer, in New York State, USA.
