Francevillite is a mineral species composed of hydrated uranyl vanadate, barium and lead, with the formula (Ba,Pb)(UO2)2(VO4)2-5H2O. Francevillite forms a continuous series with curienite.
Here, it occurs as orange crystals in association with the more yellow curienite (first described from this deposit).
A fine specimen from the former Mounana uranium mines in Haut-Ogooué, Gabon, in the Michel Maigrot collection.
