Descloïzite & Smithsonite, Berg Aukas, Namibia.

80,00

A very nice volume for this set of crystals of descloizite, a lead-zinc vanadate, in association with beige mamelonitic smithsonite.

The crystals are bright, translucent and of a beautiful orange-brown color.

The specimen was found at the Berg Aukas mine in Namibia in the 1970s/1980s.

This location has yielded the world’s best specimens of this mineral species.
