A remarkable specimen for the quality of its crystals of dravite, a variety of tourmaline, expressed in mesh, with fine crystals intertwined.
Located between the Maurienne and Tarentaise valleys, the Lauzière massif (Savoie) forms a remarkable geological entity.
It is home to numerous minerals, including anatase, quartz, albite, adularia,epidote and even dravite.
This specimen comes from the Notre-Dame-du-Cruet area.
