Description
Erythrite comes from the alteration of cobalt minerals, mainly skutterudite.
Hornesite was named after Moriz Hörnes in 1895 and is a rare member of the Vivianite group.
It is chemically related to erythrite.
The provenance indicated is not 100% confirmed.
This specimen was part of Philippe Glastre’s collection.
