Description
Exceptional yellow cubic fluorite (or fluorite) crystal with blue ghosts from the yellow vein of the old Valzergues mine in the Aveyron department.
The faces are perfect and shiny and the three main edges have beautiful truncations. The top shows what could look like a break, but it is in fact a nice series of truncations, or crystallization defects, to be specified.
Several dozen blue to purple ghosts are visible by transparency in the yellow cube, as well as a series of green Frenkel defects.
