Description
Beautiful mauve to transparent fluorite with a Mercedes star structure, in reference to the famous automobile brand.
In the 1960s and 1970s, numerous fluorite samples were found in the Boltry quarry in Seilles, Belgium, near Andenne.
The exterior is generally corroded by hydrothermal liquids. These masses of dissolved fluorite come in a wide variety of colors: predominantly mauve, but there are also pieces of green, blue, red and colorless fluorite at Seilles, making them fascinating collectors’ items, even suitable for cutting.
