Description
Elegant floating group of stepped blue-green fluorite crystals evoking the “Aztec pyramid” facies.
The main crystal shows chalcopyrite inclusions and a lighter ghost.
It comes from the famous Montroc mine in the Tarn region of France, a former open-pit fluorite-copper mine closed in 2005.
Minerals from this deposit are all the rarer for being impossible to collect.
