Very nice fluorite from the Avellan mine in the Var department. Crystals of this cube-shaped fluorite rub shoulders with small, translucent tabular crystals of baryte. This mine was mainly exploited in the 1960s/70s, and 40,000 tons of fluorspar were produced.
