Description
This beautiful little floating specimen shows an inky-purple dodecahedral fluorite, sprinkled with bright translucent quartz micro-crystals.
Initially labelled by the discoverers as coming from Puy Saint Gulmier (Puy-de-Dôme), the geographical origin of this piece is quite different: the Pont des Bouyges quarry in the commune of Moustier Ventadour, Corrèze.
