Description
This pretty little specimen shows a fluorite dodecahedron on quartz, itself dusted with bright white microquartz on one side, and expresses itself with a cubic shape and an inky purple core on the other.
It is one of a series of pieces discovered relatively recently in Corrèze.
Initially labelled by the discoverers as coming from Puy Saint Gulmier (Puy-de-Dôme), the geographical origin of this piece is quite different: the Pont des Bouyges quarry in the commune of Moustier Ventadour.
