Superb beryl crystal, goshenite variety, double-ended, almost intact, and associated with small clusters of muscovite (white mica) crystals.
Specimen of beryl, an alumina silicate, from Antsirabe, Madagascar. Mineral of the collection of the naturalist merchant Deyrolle, of Paris, provided with box and label of origin (XIXth century).
