Description
Exceptional crystal of leadhillite, a hydroxy-sulfato-carbonate of lead.
This mineral is mostly present in microscopic form.
Leadhillite is a secondary mineral found in the oxidation zone of lead deposits associated with cerussite, anglesite, linarite and pyromorphite.
Samples from this deposit are rare. This is one of the largest existing examples.
