Description

Here’s a galena crystal (a lead sulfide) crystallized as an octahedron, so the surfaces have a macro-mozaic structure. The base of the crystal is made up of numerous cubic crystals. This sample has a very attractive patina and comes from Joplin, Missouri, USA.
