Aesthetic and classic calcite crystals pseudomorphosed into sandstone, including a beautiful outgrowth.

Very nice aerial set from Cabrerets in the Lot department, near Cahors.

These specimens are somewhat identical to the better known Fontainebleau (Bellecroix calcite) specimens, but have generally coarser quartz grains (from the sandstone).
