The M’Fouati (Mfouati) deposit in the Congo has provided some excellent mineral specimens in connection with lead, zinc and copper.
Here’s an excellent example with this green pyromorphite in perfect, bright crystals nicely set on a brown to red rock.
Pyromorphite is a lead chlorophosphate.
The Farges deposit in Ussel, France, and certain Chinese deposits also provide fine examples.
