Superb specimen of pyromorphite crystals on oxidized chunky quartz crystals.

Pyromorphite forms fine clumpy crystals on part of the specimen, and large chunky crystals on the quartz crystals.

Very nice association, nice presentation. A quartz crystal is broken on the side of the piece.

The Farges mine from which this pyromorphite specimen comes is an old lead mine located near Ussel in Corrèze. It is world famous for its incredible crystallizations.
