Very nice piece presenting on one side perfect centimetric crystals of green to brown pyromorphite extremely bright and on the other side orange to black crystals with some natural breaks. The edges of the pieces show traces of partial dissolution of the pyromorphite.

Nothing to say, it is a very beautiful specimen of the old lead mine of Farges in Ussel in Corrèze.

The Farges mine, now inaccessible, provided some of the world’s best pyromorphite specimens before its closure in the 1980s.
