Small set of prismatic quartz crystals, hematite petal inclusions and epidote from Dramont in the Esterel massif, Var department. The rhyolitic gangue doesn’t seem conducive to it, but two (very) small quartz crystals present a pretty Gardette (or Japanese) macle formation: Unusual, even unique! Harvested in 1994.
Easily observed with a binocular loupe.
