Beautiful set of chloritic flake quartz, one face of the flakes is covered with pyrite, mature plate with little gangue.
This quartz, reminiscent of Alpine facies, was formed 300 million years ago. it comes from quarries in the Bierghes area of Belgium, 30 km from Brussels. Le Règne Minéral” magazine has published a comprehensive article on this gite and its discoveries.
