Description

Superb, large red rutile crystal (3.8×3.3×2.5 cm), with highly polished, well-expressed faces, on thin, oxidized black disthene blades. However, the crystal has a few contacts and is more or less “drowned” in the kyanite crystals, but the whole thing is really nice.

Beautifully iridescent goethite covers part of the rutile crystal.
