Description
Ball of limonite, prochlorite (another name for clinochlore) and muscovite after siderite on quartz.
Quartz is slightly chloritic and partially recrystallized at the ends.
It is topped by altered siderite balls and small, shiny black cubes. Specimen from the Estelette glacier, in Italy’s Val Veny, on the eastern slopes of the Mont Blanc massif.
