Description
Rare specimen of Skutterudite and Erythrine with a little quartz.
This mineralogical sample comes from the Kruth sector in the Saint Amarin valley (Upper Thur valley), in the Haut-Rhin region of the Vosges mountains.
In 1951, the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique discovered a pitchblende vein in the road’s T-shaped trench. According to the label, the sample was found in 1976.
An interesting specimen for the Vosges mineralogical systematist.
