Description
Remarkable torbernite crystal, perched at the top of the gangue.
Torbernite (uranium-copper phosphate) is shown here in beautiful green sheets. This mineral comes from the former uranium mine at Saint Priest la Prugne, on the border between the Loire and Puy-de-Dôme departments.
Specimen from the Alain Martaud mineral collection, delivered with label.
