The Beauchaud pegmatite (sometimes spelled Biauchaud), a classic French heritage site, is located in the Montorsier mountain, in the communes of St-Pierre-la-Bourlhonne and Le Brugeron.
It contains tourmaline, quartz, beryl, garnet and muscovite.
This specimen shows numerous black tourmaline crystals in grey quartz and white feldspars.
