Specimen consisting of two large, well-defined black wolframite crystals with a small, well-placed hyaline quartz prism, partially covered by golden pyrite and beige siderite.
Panasqueira in Portugal is a large tungsten and tin mine made up of multiple concessions that began production in 1898.
The mineralized zone is 2,500 m long, varying in width from 400 m to 2,200 m, and continues to a depth of at least 500 m.
