Wulfenite, Mežica, Slovenia.

75,00

Superb example of orange wulfenite crystals with a brilliant, resinous luster.
The abundance of tabular crystals is classic for this mineral species.
A very fine collector’s item from one of the Mežica mines in Slovenia (former Yugoslavia).
An interesting European wulfenite!
Mineral collector Philippe Glastre acquired it in 1972 from a certain Gellier, and it subsequently joined his collection.
He added his inventory number, “PG 045”, to the specimen.
