Zinkenite on siderite, Saint-Pons, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

150,00

Zinkenite is composed of lead sulfide and antimony, and is found here nestled on light-brown rhombohedral siderite. The fluted crystals, with sub-metallic highlights, are of good size for the site and the mineral species. This sample comes from the Saint-Pons ravines, near Barcelonnette, in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, a deposit famous for its rare sulfosalts.

Very beautiful mineralogy.
