Small specimen with fine crystals of shiny brown axinite. A typical specimen from the Chamrousse area (Lac Achard side), Isère department. The Chamrousse alpine mineral cracks provided Bachat-Boulou with some of the finest, largest axinite specimens known in the 1970s.
